Given the warn overdrive, there is some value.

“This is a true military Jeep. I bought this solely for the purpose of the soft top bows for my resto project. This is what a trail rig, mud bogger, or hunting vehicle would have looked like from this early era of 4×4’s. There are some sought-after parts on it:

-Warn overdrive
-lockout hubs
-working electric windshield wiper
-pintle hook & bumperettes
-side steps
-wide off-road tires

The engine is a Chevy 283 with power pack heads and a Holley carb. It cranks over good, it needs a distributor cap/wires and coil. The oil was clean and no traces of water or mud. It shouldn’t take much to start, I just have too many projects going on right now. It has an IL salvage title, you may or may not be able to get a normal title (I don’t have any experience with this, and it’s so old you might get off easier). Apparently it came from an auction and all the vehicles were sold as salvage, but it definitely hasn’t been in a wreck, the frame and horns are straight. Body is decent shape, frame looks pretty solid with surface rust, the leaf springs look alright. It can be a great trail rig, runner, or g”
