“This is a 1949 CJ3A Willys Jeep. This has a Wyoming Title and until last year had never been out of the state. NO RUST. Garaged or barned all its life. Frame off restoration 99% complete. Electrics have been changed to 12V but the 6V parts are with the vehicle. Vehicle has an original speedometer indicating under 10,000 miles to the best of my knowledge this is accurate. Asking $12,500.00 OBO. This is not a mudder it is an antique.”
Nice. Only a handful of things to add to be correct. I like it…
Nice jeep. Look how shiny that boot rest is.
What’s the device sticking up on the pipe going into the exhaust manifold?
Joe, looks like some sort of recirculation set up to pre warm the incoming air for carb…
That is a fording valve for an M38. The engine could be out of an M38.
Is this unit still available? “1949 CJ-3A Louden, NH $12,500”
Craigslist Ad is down/removed… often a sign it has sold… but not always.
