UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
Mike’s got his sedan delivery wagon for sale.
“1962 Willys Sedan Delivery 4×4. Rare body style, and in very good condition. Original rebuilt 225-6, 3 spd T90, with dana 18 TC. Also has Warn Overdrive installed. The body is as solid as you will find. This truck is from Southern California. The only body work done by previous owner is some fiberglass overlay on the front driver / passenger floors to seal pin holes.- no patch panels done or needed in my opinion. There is a small dent in the drivers rear QP, but its an easy fix, on the bottom edge of the panel. I suspect the body was a donor onto a regular wagon chassis because the gauge cluster is from a mid 50’s era Willys. Only a real Willys nut would know that, and actually the 50’s dash is more desirable. Engine runs perfect – no choke to start, and this truck drivers great. Here are some mild upgrades:
*alternator replaced oem generator
*Seat belts
*battery relocated to rear by barn doors
*Body completely disassembled by prev owner, sanded and painted before re-assembly (exterior awaiting prep and paint).
*OEM bench seat taken out, replaced with (2) bucket seats from a Nissan I believe. This allows tall / large people to drive this truck comfortably. Nice installation – not a hack job.
*vent – wing windows taken out, replaced with one-piece glass.
*upgrade radio nicely fitted into radio dash panel
*New 15 inch radial tires on after market wheels.
*All wiring is new – 100% on electrical in every way.
*steering box rebuilt – steering is better than my $50,000 63 WO pickup.
*Brakes are 100%.- new brake lines added.
*Rancho shocks
*After maket steering wheel – better size and grip.
*After market steel gas tank, nicely built, fits perfect under truck.
You could go either way on this truck – back to stock or hot rod. It only needs interior and exterior paint to be a cool daily driver or take it to the next level. I don’t need to sell it, so no stupid offers please.
I DO NOT NEED HELP SELLING THIS VEHICLE.
$9500. OBO
If’ your going to make a hot rod, and don’t want the engine, transmission, transfer case, and overdrive – I will deduct $ 2500 off the price and provide the labor to remove these parts. That gives you a solid roller for $7000.”
Is the truck still for sale?
