“1957 Willys FC150. Nice original body, not a lot of rust, was stored inside for years. Missing the transmission, transfer case, radiator and undoubtedly some small parts but is basically complete and sound. Box floor is good, glass is good enough to use, etc. I bought this out of an auction in Livingston last summer and was going to try to restore it but I recently bought an FC170 that is pretty nice so I’m going to do that one. I also have 3 Willys pickups and a CJ3A. Enough Willys projects for now.
This is $3250 as it sets. It can stay in my storage for free until July 1st, then it either has to go away or you start paying storage of $25 a month, which is what they charge me.”
Sounds like texting is not an option. Why is it in the Dallas cl? Pricey for not having tranny and transfer and missing parts.
Chris,
I missed the fact that it was listed in Dallas. I have been wondering lately if sometimes Craigslist posts ads to the wrong city. Maybe a database error. There was an example of a weekend estate sale in Seattle, but the ad was posted in Alaska and not in Seattle. If that was a user error, it was an odd one.
I’ve bought 4 jeeps in the 480/602 and 520 area codes despite my 908 cell phone prefix. I’m glad the sellers I’ve dealt with weren’t this jaded. If they all saw me as a scammer from New Jersey I’d be jeepless (too sad to imagine).
I’d be willing to bet he has never been scammed. As a matter of fact maybe he is the scammer here. Montana Dallas ???
