Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

One pic wonder. Nice little jeep. The diamond plate and white spoke wheels aren’t working for me but may be an easy fix. Looks pretty straight. Some haggling on price could make this jeep a winner…
diamond plate just ruins the look of these flatties. Hopefully solid underneath. I like the overdrive
That diamond plating was very popular in Washington in the 70s and 80s. The tight Cascade Mountain trails made the plating a necessity for reducing damage to the side of the body and at the corners. Looking at the condition of the rest of the jeep, it wouldn’t surprise me if the body was straight underneath. I’ve learned that lots of people don’t like the look of it, but its nostalgic for me.
Dave, I definitely get your point and respect it. It just seems like a lot of people overuse the diamond plate, giving it a blinged out look, that takes away the look of the jeep. Or worse, covering up the rust and rot because they don’t want to deal with it
Yep, I agree there. And I never installed it on my jeeps. I might wax nostalgic and enjoy seeing it in the right places on the right jeeps, but I didn’t want it on mine 🙂
Great dialogue… esp. about the diamond plate (not as offensive nor overused here). But I just wish the seller had posted more pics, esp. of the engine bay, rear end, and floors. This could be a good deal on a nice looking daily/fun driver.
