James’ daughter took these photos of London’s 70th Anniversary of VE Day. She drives the family’s 1948 CJ-2A, so she knows a thing or two about jeeps.

The spec. sheet list this jeep as having a four speed trans. with a 2spd transfer case. Is this right??

    Roy,

I have seen ‘reverse’ included as a gear at times. Maybe that’s what they meant?

I thought maybe the English had something we didn’t, or as usual I learned something new today. 🙂 Thanks Dave, You and Ann are having way to much fun. 🙂 🙂

I really like that Special Air Service jeep, and think it would be cool to do a “rat patrol” North Africa campaign jeep… but unless I found the front grill already modified, I don’t think I could bring myself to cut up a WWII grill.

I’m with Joe…been thinking about doing a ‘desert jeep’ for a while…have to find a gpw/mb ‘beater grill’ that i can cut.
