What makes you think it is the even fire vs. the odd fire?
He mentioned it came out of an ’82 buick. I put an ’81 in a gpw when I was a kid. They were 231’s, not 225’s, and I was told they were all even fires by then. They were blue in color instead of that minty green. I may be wrong, let me have it…
I missed that detail. Yes, agreed, that should be a 231 based on the vehicle. I thought you looked at the engine and could tell somehow. Having owned both, I was wondering what I was missing … lol.
