This may have good potential for a restoration.
“LOOKS ARE NOT EVERYTHING. This 1958 Model CJ-5 Willys Jeep may not be beautiful to look at, but it runs great. And the price I am asking ($4200), or what I might take for it, is hard to beat. This jeep has its original 4-cylinder engine. It has a removable hard (fiberglass) top that includes removable steel doors and glass side and rear windows. Vehicle always parked within garage or carport. Tires are in good condition; radiator has been replaced and is in good condition; break pads recently replaced; new exhaust system; regularly serviced. I’ve owned this vehicle for many years and it has always started right up, even in the cold winters of eastern Idaho. With the 4-wheel drive high and low gear options, this jeep can climb just about anything and it is licensed for the highway unlike many of the recreational off-road vehicles that cost a lot more. I have a clear and clean title.”
I think he means western Idaho. We may have seen this for sale before. Looks like a nice little jeep. Love the hard top and the chaff screen. Lots of correctness here, hall style tailights, right speedometer, side steps, bench and rear seat. I’d take the side mirror off and start enjoying. I think his price is pretty fair. This would make someone a great jeep if rust was minimum…
Looks fairly solid. I like that there aren’t any holes in the tailgate for Jerry can
Oh hey, good morning. This is a pretty nice little rig, eh? I like it. I was super busy yesterday. I think someone mentioned more armadillo sightings…what have you started?
Oh hey toddy. Armadillos are mysterious creatures with curiosity. Jeeps need to protect themselves as these things could cause lots of damage. They sure do travel. I love the sliding rear hatch of this top.
Yes, this did appear some time ago. I deleted the older ad.
