UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200.
Looks like a good price.
“This is a Sears and Roebuck aluminum full hard top with doors for a WIlly’s Jeep. It came off of a 1946 CJ2A. I am listing it for a friend and he can probably answer most any questions about it. He started to restore the jeep and ended up selling it and has the top left over.”
Had one identical on my high hood when I got it. The rivets loosen just enough to rattle your brains out! It will never rust though…
Has anyone seen one of these aluminum tops buffed out and polished to a mirror-like finish? I wonder if it would look cool… or be blindingly too much?
Not that it matters but it is in South Carolina. As for the buffed finish it would have to be on an equally Blingy Jeep I think Joe. I get what your saying Todd. Rivets are great until some miles loosen them.
Peter .. it matters to me. I hate when I get that stuff wrong!
I am looking for a hard top for my 1947 CJ2A. Does this top have glass in the windows and doors? I live in Rutland, VT and am interested in the top if it is still available.
