Looking at the pale greenish paint on the inside left front fender and it looks like some on the firewall, could this possibly be a Surrey Gala body?
I didn’t notice that color. Hmmmm.
I just talked with Jeff, the owner. It is a first edition DJ3A, 1956 model which he shared the VIN for our DJ3A Production / Survivor List and is about half way thru the 2510 produced. The engine is completely rebuilt by a well known local machine shop and he has the receipts. The body shows some repair as the lower vent holes are filled. There’s value here in this Willys Project for you local traders.

I’ll go out on a limb and speculate the ad is being misread. My interpretation…

1. Sellers first thoughts is he wants to trade, not sell
2. Seller is saying he would pay up to $1000.00 extra
(Boot Up or PAY Boot) on supposed trade….
3. Seller never gives an actual price on what he
would actually SELL the DJ for CASH in his ad.
If it WERE actually for sell for a 1000 dollars that would be an unbelievable great price!!!
I have not contacted this seller but only am saying how I am reading his listing.
