yes, Lima Ohio…..i would presume the year to be 42, or early 43…..at the bottom of the page, it references the Lima Locomotive Works…..this is where all steam locomotives were built, and the plant was refitted in late 1943 to take on the manufacture of tanks for the military..only Lima, and Detroit were used for tank production, and Lima still builds tanks on this site today……
Can you imagine the excitement this offer generated? Back then Jeeps were the latest & greatest, and for a civilian to get a ride in one must have been thrilling.
