Dan spotted this nice looking wagon.
“1960 Willys PowerWagon 4×4 The engine and drive train have no known problems and the vehicle runs, shifts, and has operated well in all gears/conditions. . The paint and body have been redone and the vehicle overall, is in good original condition. Garaged 100% of my ownership.
engine – L6 226 SuperHurricane (6 cyl.).”
It does show nice. They should have used correct grill.
I like that grill with 5 bars the best. Interesting use of diamond plate on the door panels. Nice wagon…
10th Mountain Division patch on the glove box. A fine Army unit; but why put a sticker on an otherwise pristine interior? Put it on the glass, maybe… just saying.
Maybe it’s a magnet. Garaged 100% of his ownership? How long has he owned it? Two years or…? Vague info is as good as no info.
Dan, I look at this site every morning just to see wagons for sale. I need another one. Do you have some kind of a US Craiglist search engine for wagons? Appreciate any clues.
Lew Beck
Lew – I use searchtempest.com (not everyday) to scan the market. There are other options out there, including ones that will send you an email every time a rig (within your criteria) pop up on Craigslist.
Craigslist killed most of the efficient nation-wide search mechanisms, including Searchtempest when it was at its prime (it was my go to search engine for a couple years). However, a couple nation-wide apps remain. If you have a macintosh, try the craigshopper application. One note, I have not gotten it to work with the Maverick OS.
But even Craigshopper misses all kinds of ads (not sure why). So, I’ve built some sophisticated RSS feeds to help me filter and comb individual Craigslists.
Yeah, searchtempest is clunky. Usually look at it once a month while eating lunch at my desk.
SearchTempest is what I still what works best for me. However I know it misses ads as my own ads don’t even show up for me. Craigslist (Craig) intent is to be for local users only.
