Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

That seems stupid cheap…maybe a scam?
The phone number listed is in Michigan… so at least that is consistent. Only one pic, taken at a car event of some kind, could be a caution flag. But as long as the buyer checks this out in person before buying it, gets valid title transfer, and isn’t convinced to provide any money via wire or Paypal or other means to “hold it”, they shouldn’t get scammed.
What do you think, Dave?
It did seem to be a pretty low price. But, maybe the seller doesn’t have a concept of the value?
The value of something varies with the part of the country you live in. I wouldn’t pay more than that for this Jeepster. Reasonable prices are out there if you search for it. Some parts of the country just have “stupid high” prices. We who view the internet get to see the variety of prices. And that’s how some people make their money…..they find cars at realistic prices and then they find buyers who are willing to pay higher prices. The people who really make money “flipping” old cars, sell them to overseas buyers that have more money than brains. When you spend $30,000 on a shiny old car, it’s still an old car. (Meaning it still needs the same TLC as a non-restored, running vehicle.)
So, that term, “not knowing the value” means that the seller doesn’t know how to connect with buyers that are willing to pay top dollar.
Nice looking Jeepster! I predict that it will make a new owner happy very soon. Hopefully, the car “flippers” won’t get to it first, and an every-day, potential owner is not cheated out of the opportunity to enjoying owning and driving a Jeepster that’s within their budget.
**Steve E.**
I agree with Steve E. Also there are more pics in the ad now.
Pictures in two different locations is a good sign. Quality of rebuild is one price factor (looks good from 30 feet).
