UPDATE: Was $1500. **SOLD**
This jeep includes a rare Blue Star Hardtop.
“1952 Willy Jeep CJ3A 4×4, 4 cyl, standard, fold down windshield, has towbar, and spare tire. It comes with an aluminum hard top and soft door frames. I don’t know if it was factory or aftermarket.
Was told that it ran 5 years ago. I couldn’t get it to turn over, it’s stuck. Has some rust in the floor. Can be fixed easily, because it’s all in flat areas. And needs seats recovered.”
Looks like rust in the hat channel areas in floor. Seller seems honest and realistic. Not sure if that is paint or bed liner inside tub. What is a good valuation of those blue star tops? They’re rare but how desired are they?
I don’t think thats a bad price at all…many sellers are on crack when they price stuff like this. This one you could maybe unstick easily, and have a decent running jeep for a couple grand.
I agree Bob, if this jeep ran 5 years ago and has been stored inside, I don’t think it would take much at all to free it up
Those tops are very cool and ultra rare according to Dave’s homework. We could go on all day about some faults here but the good price always trumps and forgiveness wins. Bob is right in his thinking. Price is good. Leaves room to do some work.
if this is still available I will take it
Hi Phil,
Looks like this sold. I’ve updated the post.
