“1969 Kaiser Jeep CJ5
225 Dauntless V6, Manual 3 speed, 4×4. Almost all original. Clear MD title in hand.

A previous owner bought in Annapolis 1999 by a Marine who was stationed at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Brought it down to the base and rebuilt engine while stationed there. He returned to Annapolis in 2000 put in storage. It has the base sticker on the windshield still!

Sold in 2012 and put in storage in Annapolis again. I purchased it this winter for a project and cannot keep it due to completing real estate school, potentially buying another house and career goals.

It has not been on the road, just driven around the farm.

The good: Rare V6. 3 speed with rear output shaft for a PTO drive. Almost all original. Runs great. 4×4 works great. Hubs lock and have no issues. All gears work fine, no issues.

Engine has new this year, battery, starter, new oil pump and oil, radiator hoses, Tstat and coolant, tune up. Original oil bath air filter is intact and functioning. Frame is good, running gear is all good. Tires are good and are on original rims which are hard to find. Lights work. Tailgate is intact and works.

The bad: Tranny and Tcase will eventually need new seals, both leak. Rusty floors. Fronts were replaced some time ago and are ok. Back is original and needs a new pan. Body has some bondo and some areas needing attention. Brakes work but will need attention before driving on road. Only the drivers seat is bolted in. Passenger seat bracket is missing. Windshield has a crack.

Extras not installed: Back seat, passenger seat with another spare seat. Extra starter, 2 chrome wagon wheels, original heater box, roll bar, Grant steering wheel.

No top or doors.

Only trades considered would be a farm tractor with bush hog/mower.”

Neat little short nose. I like stories with the jeeps. I don’t see reflectors on hood so must be before that was done

Awe, little brother, I’m so proud of you! Catching the hood reflectors not being there on an early production ’69. Careful, you might be starting to have a fondness for round fenders… hey did you notice the tuxedo park Mark 4 springs in the rear? Holy moly. Too bad so much rust, I still like it though. Pretty complete…

They’re growing on me. Still love the flatties though. You’re right on the tux springs in back. This one is pretty complete. Poor hat channels
