Buz spotted this lowered jeep at the Charlotte Auto Fair. The seller want’s $8500. After looking at the front end, I’m not sure I”d want to drive this too fast.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

RADICAL DUDE!
Are you sh!$ing me?! This thing is not only wild, but look at how this guy pulled this thing off. I was reading their sign on the windshield. “Automatic 6 speed”… you can clearly see a t-90, spicer 18, and what looks like an overdrive (maybe where the “6 speed” comes from) but with pto looking linkage. I’m not going to get wacky about correctness because it’s obvious that it’s ratted out but that’s what’s so amazing about it. The owner uses just enough correct jeep stuff that your eyes and your brain wig out! The windshield also says “4×4”. Got the t-case and the model 25 (breather on different cover) but no clearance room, no driveshaft. Check out the seats. I stared for a long time. They are actually made from metal folding chairs, freaky cool! 3b windshield frame, for squattyness I suppose. Look at all the work just to get the steering to work and they used most of the stock parts, just adding or modifying as needed. Would like to see the oil filter back on, but hey, for engine health reasons only. And “what suspension”? I’ll bet this thing actually runs off the gi can in the back. The only thing that is weird is that all his tires match… touchet dude!
RIGHT ON, Now this is the kind of work that I admire. The guy who put this together used his brain & creativity, along with imagination created a show stopper vehicle far superior to all those shinny High gloss paint jobs on new body tubs. There is a group of guys in Concord, NC (The Charlotte Auto Fair is actually held in Concord) who call themselves THE IRON LORDS, who put together a lot of old iron in this style, I bet ya this guy is one of them.
