Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Holy moly! This thing looks totally original down to the paint. These sell for ridiculous money when done. I know the motor is out but it’s just a f head, lots out there. I think this is a bargain. If it was closer, I would definitely be looking…what am I missing?
Idaho Todd- This appears to be a leftover 1949 VJ3 Jeepster, sold as a 1950, due to the flat front grille instead of the V front sheet metal that came out in March 1950. It also has the earlier Jeepster dash and instruments. The F-head engine came out in the true 1950 Jeepsters and other vehicles in the Willys lineup, but wasn’t in the earlier models, so the F-head is probably a replacement engine at some point in the past 65 years. At this price, the Jeepster is a very good bargain. Figuring out the stuck engine shouldn’t be too costly and if the trans and overdrive work, a very good deal. Rust in the front floorboards are a problem with the eastern Jeepsters, not so much with western cars.
Hey Colin, the force is strong with you! It’s nice to have you in the conversation with all your knowledge. Look forward to more chats…
This is in very sweet shape. Would be a good resto
I wonder, still available?
I haven’t seen it relisted lately. I suspect it sold. I’ve updated the post.
