I have never seen a rear panel cut to handle the spare, I don’t think I care for it, including the reduced rear visibility. I wonder what the original build sheet looks like, have never seen one mentioned or if they even exist.
Between the oversized front seats moved way back (for more leg room?) and that spare tire cutout mod, there isn’t much backseat or rear storage area left. From the pictures, it looks like all that body work was done professionally… and not a bad price for such a stylish flatfender. No pics of the “original flathead 4 engine”.
