UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Not a perfect restoration, but nicely refurbed with what appears to be a replacement body.
“This 4×4 Willys is in excellent condition. It was professionally restored. It has a powder-coated frame with period correct wheels and tires.
It has a brand new soft top, a rebuilt engine, a 12 volt electrical conversion, rebuilt 3 speed with a 2 speed divider.
Has a tow bar mounted on the front. No need for trailer. Tires are in excellent shape. Like new.
Civilian version according to VIN.”
Wow, lots of stuff happening on this little jeep. M38 tub and windshield frame. Late ’46 to early ’47 grill. Mid year production 3a hood. Mid ’60s clutch and brake pedals. Late model donaldson air breather. I wonder how much it’ll fetch…
I think Dave is right, it’s a replacement tub. Gauges aren’t cut with exact spacing, choke, throttle, dash light and brights light are out of order and not enough holes. It has a gpw/mb glove box (m38 is smaller), the m38 also has the cane handle on left side of wheel and center insert for gauges. I don’t see m38 drain holes in floor pans either. Older replacement tubs has several different parts to attempt to make a legit tub
