Looks M 38ish to me but not a lot to see
Seller seems to know what he has: “original WW II army Jeep front end” and posted a lot of pics. The grill looks MB/GPW, front cross member appears tubular/MB, and at least one of the fenders (both?) are WWII, but otherwise this looks like a militarized CJ-2A (drain holes in tub, smaller fuel filler tube, tailgate… even looks like the hood has embossed “Willys”).
I agree with Joe. I don’t see any M-38 details either. The fuel inlet is civilian, there are no grill hinges, no passenger side tool indents, it has drain holes, and there’s no battery box lid.
