This body is worth a look.
“1948 willys cj2a jeep body also have a suzuki samurai frame go with it. $1000 for body or $1300 for frame and body. Willys has a good title just waiting to get it back from Frankfort so it will be in my name. ”

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I think this little jeep is a ’47 or ’49. If that’s the original grill, it’s not a ’46 because of the parking lights. I believe in’48, the bow pockets were on the passenger side and the spare tire was on the drivers side… I don’t know if this is true for all ’48’s though. Little help little brother… the tub looks pretty solid though.
Oh Todd… not all 48 have the bow pockets and spare switched (leftys)That was a short time they did that. Not sure of the start and stop with the serial numbers. I can unusually tell a 49 by the fenders and other small changes as willys transitioned to the 3a.I’d like to see the floors and hats to see how solid it is
Lots of Lefty questions and research here — http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/calling-all-leftys_topic16021_page1.html –
For a short period of time, March, 3rd through April,14th of 1948, the factory switched the normal location of the spare tire mount to the driver-side which in turn necessitated the bow pockets to be moved to the passenger-side.
The serial number range was serial # range of 176,061 through 185,769 … though there were some exceptions.
what about that hood? how much?
