Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Even unrestored, the price look too high. It does’nt have the original engine.
And 25K$ when it will be restored, it’s optimistic.
Some might even say $25k is unrealistic (I would be one of those people).
The brush guards for the headlights, the headlight trim rings and the blackout parking light lenses are shown in one picture but missing in another. Is the seller parting this Jeep out while they await a buyer for the remains?
I noticed that too, Paul. I think that 3rd pic is a different Jeep. It’s more complete (as you itemized,) plus greener and less rusty.
To clear this up. The bottom pic is an older pic from April. The two top pics are supposed to be new pics. I kept the third pic because it showed the engine. Based on the rust spots and mechanics, it looks like the same jeep to me. The hue (proper term?) of the paint is different due to a different camera or different lighting. So, I believe it’s the same jeep.

Just clicked ad and he now says “Will take $3400”.
Thanks Joe. Updated.
Hey guys, I bought this M38!… it is in my shop right now and I am deciding between restoration or preservation. The only rust is the one present in the front floors and the side cowl panels as seen in the pictures. It does run an drives and running gear works perfectly.
As always, brakes don’t work : )))
It is complete, PO took some parts off but he gave them to me in a box, so it is mostly complete.
The good thing is that it hasn’t been restored or messed up in the past besides that awful hole torched in the hood. No bondo, no hidden rust.
Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated.
Regards
Axel
