Interesting truck. Do you know what kind of rims those are, and what size tires are mounted on them. I have been looking for rims and tires for my 1958 Willys wagon, I those are the type I have been hunting for. Any info is appreciated. Good luck selling the truck.

    Steve,

Those look like 10×15 solid steel rims. The pop up for sale every so often. I can only guess on the tires, but they appear to be an older version of the Cooper Discoverer tires (dad had a set on his cj-5 back in the 1980s). The Cooper Discoverer tires have a different tread these days — here’s a set that’s kind of similar:

It seems all you need is a good story and a fool will buy it. Thay did make m170s in to radio trucks but this is not one. A radio jeep will have a 100 amp alt on it with the diode bank in front of the rad under the grill. There will be a slave cable plugin in the pass side indent. The rear springs would be very heavy duty like the m38a2 that held the 105. It would not have the funny rear seat ,the right one was sideways and most had a hard top to keep the rain off the radios. The radio set would be hf set like the grc 14 or later on a grc 106, it would not use the little 28 to 75 mcs sets as the main raido. The paint would not be desert sand it would be the usmc green. There would be the airborn lift rear bumper and the oversize ring on the front. All this is is a m170 put up to look like a radio unit and should be in the 4 to 5 k price not 10 k. It might be a nice jeep but it is not what the owner is trying to push off as a radio jeep
