I wonder if he’s right about it being 1947 CJ-2A. Although stretched, the body has some M-38 features. You can see the ax head retainer on the passenger side, faint tool indents, and holes where the shovel head strap went. That fuel filler opening looks “pronounced” like an M-38 as well. This is pretty neat… and $2500 seems like a great price.
Maybe it’s just the title that is 2A? The body might be a replacement body, given the lack of a battery box lid.
