UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Has some rust and patches. Runs and drives.
“I’m selling my 1975 Jeep CJ6. This jeep is mechanically sound and is my daily driver in the summer months. I am the 3rd owner and have owned it for about 4 years. When I first bought the Jeep, I replaced the gas tank, sending unit, fuel lines, plugs, belts, radiator hoses, power steering hoses, thermostat, and ignition module. Last year I replaced the battery, alternator and complete braking system including Stainless Steel brake lines, hoses, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Again, this Jeep is dependable and strong running. It is able to be driven as is with no worries.
The Jeep was only used on a farm by the previous owner, so it only has 64K miles. It has the 258 straight six, 3.73 gears and power steering. The tires are in excellent condition. The odometer stopped working this past September, so it has about 400 more miles then shown. It also needs a new wiper motor. The soft top is about 5 years old and in good condition with one broken zipper on the drivers window.
The frame is rust free on this Jeep, but the body has extensive rust. The front floor pan needs to be replaced, along with the tailgate and front fenders. As you can see, the side panels need work as well. The rear floor has only surface rust with no thin spots or holes. The tub is rusty but repairable.
For those of you who know Jeeps, you know that CJ6’s are extremely rare. It took me three years of constant searching to locate this CJ6. It’s only the second CJ6 I have ever seen in person. While this Jeep has rust, it is a great project for someone to restore. It’s definitely worth fixing and will provide you with a unique vehicle that few other people own. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. “
