“RESTORED: Keeping it as near as original as possible with minor upgrades. Date restored August Dec.-2014. Not an off frame, frame did not have any rust issues, the cab and body sanded down to bare metal primed several times, very small amount of rust. The bed was removed, the floor was replaced with -3/4” treated plywood and covered with beautiful Oak hardwood finished with Golden Oak stain and Helmsman Spar Urethane.
ENGINE: Original 4 cylinder flat head replaced with a 6 cylinder flat head 226 CID “Super Hurricane
TRANSMISSION: Three speed transmission and two speed transfer provides six forward speeds, two in reverse, and could be ordered with a PTO.
BRAKES: All brake lines replaced, master cylinder rebuilt.
INTERIOR: Doors lined with Dynamat sound deadner,completely reupholstered bench seat, door panels are hard wood paneling covered with black vinyl, new headliner. A new set of modern gauges (water temp- oil pressure- voltmeter) has been added in additional to the original gauges. Windows roll up and down very good, glass is good. The floor has been sprayed with a good looking bed liner.
TIRES: 16″ -245/ fair. They are a pull off of my personal truck. Add tires of your choice.
NEW ITEMS: Shocks, water pump, electric fuel pump, gauges, etc. all can be verified with receipts.
TITLE: Yes — in my name with La. Antique license plates.
UPGRADES: Include 12 volt system, turn signals, modern gauges, new wiring, LED taillights, electric wipers, etc.
OVERALL: This is a great running truck. Can be used as a daily driver, parades, shows or a great hunting truck. Photos are available of restoration as well as receipts of all parts installed. Service Manual and Parts books available. Parts availability is no problem.

Seller says the original 4 cylinder flathead was replaced by the Hurricane 6. This truck should have had the F-head 4 cylinder originally, not the flathead (L-head 4). Lots of folks need educating about Jeeps, don’t they?
