(09/02/2014) Needs some work.
“Was bought from second owner who purchased from forestry service in the 40’s.
Local Bay Area vehicle. Was garaged for the past twelve years.
No rust in pan, service rust only, really clean starter project.
Complety stock, go devil flathead four cylinder engine. Stock twin stick two speed transfercase.
Stock Dana 35’s.
Brand new exhaust manifold, completely rebuilt bead blasted and painted intake.
New tuneup parts, still six volt system, purchased high dollar stock style complete wiring kit with horsehair components and factory weave looms. Have NOS key switch and other components new in box. New steering components installed. Brakes are 95% brand new minus the wheel cylinders and the shoes.
Matching VIN’s motor to frame.
Original Black and Gold plates front and rear.
Jeep ran and drove before parked. Did not overheat, idled well. No battery, wiring not finished.
Will run and drive with minimal amount of work.
Chocolate lab not included.

i’m curious does anybody know what the device at the front right of engine compartment is? power booster maybe.
I think you mean the front, driver’s side (a better, but not optimal, pic of it is on craigslist). It looks like it is sitting right behind the driver’s side headlight. I am not sure, but I think a power booster is a good guess.
