UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“Classic tonka honey bucket jeep. Good condition, straight from an estate so it could use a little clean up. Some edge chips, some marker/drawing on the underside of the hood. See photos. Manufactured from 1972-73 based on old tonka catalogs and newspaper ads.”
Never seen that top before…what a riot!
Wow… and to me the term “honey bucket” was a common (albeit facecious) term for what orbiting spacecraft (especially the Russian MIR space station) used to eject and de-orbit astronaut waste. Fortunately they always disintegrated as they hit the earth’s atmosphere.
Makes a nicer toy 😉
I have one of these in storage and I believe it has the same “tires” Suppose it is to look like it has the paddle tires on the rear.
Good to know. Thanks Dennis.
I have one for sale in beautiful shape.
