Runs and drives, but has tranny noise.
“I have a 50 willy jeep flat fender, with a ford V8 motor, it has power steering and power brakes, It has a 3 speed trans with a T 18 transfer case, it has two gas tanks, it also has a winch on the front. It has a roll bar and a full bench seat with good upholstery. It does not have a back seat. The motor runs good, but the trans makes a lot of noise in 2nd and third gears. I have another 3 speed trans for it. I have a clean Nevada title for it The windshield is cracked and dirty and there is some rust in the usual places.I am only asking $1500 for the jeep as it does need some tlc, but it does run and you can drive it home if you don’t live to far from Carson City. The seller could make an extra buck selling that WWII style rifle holder (on the dash) separately.
Interesting engine compartment: The top radiator hose goes to a box on the driver’s side fender. The air filter air intake is coming from the firewall (getting air from the passenger foot area?). And that’s an impressive tailgate-mounted fuel tank, fortunately protected somewhat by that monster rear bumper.
A lot to look at for a mere $1500…
