UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**
This is listed as an ‘un-molested CJ-2A’. However, this body has a glove box, the bumpers aren’t original, the hood latches aren’t original, the windshield is wrong, and more.
“1947 WILLYS CJ2A
PARTIALLY RESTORED INCLUDING ENGINE WORK, NEW SHOCKS, BRAKES
NEW FUEL TANK
NEW FRONT FLOOR PANELS
NO SEATS
NEED COMPLETE WIRING HARNESS
BASICALLY COMPLETE AND READY FOR SOMEONE TO FINISH”
This Jeep was also sold on Ebay to this seller a few weeks ago for $1150. It doesn’t look like any work has been done to it since then.
Appears to be partly M38. No “Willys” on the hood or on the reinforced tailgate + that glove box + wide fuel filler opening. However, no hinges on the front grill nor tool indents on the passenger side… hmmm.
I kinda like those hood latches 🙂
I like the mismatched front shackles…
Dennis: I missed that.
Joe: I’d like a closer photo of those latches. They didn’t look familiar to me.
Brian: Thanks for that info. I must have missed it earlier.
