“Currently restoring a 1943 Ford GPW and bought this tub to replace my original tub that came with my Jeep. Had this tub for a little over 3yrs and was slowly prepping it for my restoration. While restoring the tub I found an original Ford GPW ACM Type I tub, so this one went into storage. Asked several of my Jeep friends if they wanted this tub and got no response, so its going up on here.

The photos show how I got the tub before and after what I prepped as the end result. The last photos show the current condition of it is, so please ask questions on the details of the tub. It is missing the inner part of the glove box, which is how I got it unfortunately. I bought a replacement body panel axe patch front panel -A2756 and the body panel axe patch rear panel -A2765 from G503.com, which will go with the tub along with original tool box lids, glove box door, master cylinder inspection cover and a few other misc. pieces I took off the tub. So YES, there is some metal cutting, welding and restoration involved.

Tub serial number: 235171 -dated approximately around May 1945 from the G503.com website.
