Buying Tips
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Wow, they used hacksaws, hand wrenches, files, and a paint brush too…………………………..
I suspect they were all well trained in sharpening bits. I remember in shop class the first thing I made was a gauge to sharpen drill bits.
I must have missed that shop class!
They are putting the “Before you wade” sticker on the windshield,too-this has a US flag on the front, and instructions on how to prepare the vehicle for driving through water when they drive off a landing craft. I have a repop one of these on my Dodge WC51.
I’d sure hate to be the one drilling those holes with that eggbeater drill, but they managed.
