It’s a project. It includes a parts rig.

“These old Jeeps are cool, ugly but cool. When was the last time you saw one of these on the road? You don’t even see them at the local hot rod cruise in’s. Ugly or cool, they are very unique! When I was driving this beast around it always drew a crowd – at the gas station, at the store and got waves on the road all the time!

This is a great project, all the parts and pieces are here and ready for your attention. It has been in my garage for 12 plus years, time for me to move along and transfer this to someone who is going to finish it!

Here is what I have collected for this project over the years:
Of course the 1958 FC170. It has less rust then almost any I have seen that has not been restored – but it does need some fixing. The floor boards, a corner or two, a few holes from mounted equipment – and a fix on the nose. . . Notice the slots in the grill on the pictures, it once had a “South of the Border” air scoop installed (great story by the way). The bed has a few bumps but nothing that is too hard to fix up.

It runs and drives, just not right now maybe. Notice the wheel is off in the pictures, I was (am?) in the process of fixing the breaks. And the carb is on my bench, needs to be re-installed. And it needs a new 6 volt battery (or converted to 12 volt).

A total of 6 stock FC170 wheels, blasted and powder coated white. Four of them are mounted with brand new Les Schwab Wild Country TXR 235/85R16 tires that have never been on the road and up on jack stands since put on. That is over $1500 right there!

Other parts:
I also have ANOTHER FC-170 that goes with this one at the asking price. It is a parts rig, the same year, no box, has the engine/trans/trans-case and axels, cab has good parts (back cut for engine access) and a windshield.
Also – 2 spare engines, they are Willys Hurricane I-6 226 cid flat heads just like the wagon and pickups of the same vintage. Yes, that is 4 engines in this package – lots of parts!

Other parts – NOT included with this package:
A stock 4 speed transmission and transfer case. These are hard to find, trust me!
Two narrow track FC150s – I got these for parts rigs, though they could be combined to make an awesome FC150 if you like the short FCs
Two wide track FC150s – yes, two more. Once again, I got these for parts but they could be fixed up – they are worth it!

If you got this far in this very long description, you must be interested. So drop me an email, I can tell you about the rig and its cool history. I am the second owner, I have the original title!

Firm on the $2500 but not set in stone. . .”
