UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
“1959 FC150 with a non original telephone co. utility bed. Stock engine and drivetrain. It hasn’t run in years but I just put a new starter in and rebuilt the distributor getting ready to fire it up. It has all new brakes and lines and master cyl. ”
that rare bed might be worth more then the FC I’d adv and sell it separate
Aptly named “Dotty”. I like it.
But 1944, Dave? 😉
lol … I’ll chalk that up to an internet mystery … don’t know what happened there Joe!
Dotty started it’s life as a work truck for a saw mill in the U.P. of Michigan. I went up there in 1997 and brought her home where she sat for some time. The engine came out of another FC-150 that used to be a White Castle snow plow truck. The engine did run real good and I was told it was rebuilt. She had her spots ever since I knew her. Dan helped me “Rip the Band-aid Off” of my Jeep hoarding and bought it from me a couple of years ago. Hard to see her go, hope she finds a good home!
This truck sold 10-25-14.
Glad she found a new owner. I hope they fix her up, get her driving, and take pics to share with us 🙂
