Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1650.
Doesn’t run.
“Jeep Willys, Titled as a 1942, but after research, think it is more like a 1946. Many 1942 parts. It is a CJ2A. It is in rough shape, did not have the time to re-build and finish. It is a sweet Willys, and the motor is not frozen, but does not run. Needs lots of TLC to make her new again. Willing to deliver within a 200 mile radius from Shell Knob, MO.”
Needs a LOT of work… and I didn’t see any 1942 parts in there. Looks like an original, complete CJ2A. Same air cleaner that came on the 1948 CJ2A I bought in Globe (my first eWillys-featured purchase :-))
