UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $28,000.
(01/17/2013) It looks good from this side, but no pics of the indents.
“1946 CJ2A #13241, Total Restoration to original condition after having been in the Navy in the Philippeans in 46. Column shift. Have all old parts. Odometer 2 mi. I have hauled on trailer to shows. Will consider offers.”
Good looking jeep. its been for sale quite a while. probably be on sale a lot longer. the guy needs to cut the price in half before he has a reasonable chance of a sale in my opinion.
Could just be the lighting and picture, but the drivers side looks kinda strange to me.
Hugh, I believe you are seeing reflections.
Could be dave, looks kind of wavy near the gas cap and bent near the rear bow holder, but it could just be a bad picture.
That must be a picture from when it was being restored, there is no glass in the windshield.
It does look like reflections on the drivers side. Looks decent, but kinda pricey!
Fellers! My Jeep is like new! Everything, gears, brngs, brakes, everything new. No waves. The bottom picture was sent to show the tool indents and the picture was from during reconstruction. Google: Barrett Jackson 46 CJ2A for a picture of a jeep like mine only a little newer (both column shift) that sold for $34000. I have more than the asking price in the Jeep, plus my finger prints on every part. I’m sorry if you can’t afford it.
I forgot to mention that during the three years since restoration, the jeep has 20 miles on the restored speedometer. The jeep goes to shows on a trailer. Send me your e-mail address and I’ll send you restoration pictures. Or if you are a member of the CJ2A Page, look me up in membership. My handle regor. You will find many restoration pictures on my post under ‘my restorations’.
