Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. What’s on the floor just ahead of the shift levers? Some kind of stop or bracket?
I like those wooden shifter knobs. Looks like a great deal, overall.
My guess is that bracket helps either the 2WD or the Hi/Lo range lever stay in gear.
