UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500.
(03/24/2014) It looks like the side of this melted.
“Re-Post. Titled 1946 Willys CJ2A.
4×4. Motor and transmission work great. Few cancer spots on frame were fixed. Needs a little work. Brake and rear lights wired. Windshield put it ( I have it.) Roll cage installed if wanted. Seats correctly installed. Needs new universal joint for front drive shaft. Done lots of work to it. New suspension in rear installed. Rear leafsprings installed in front. I have brand new leafs for front, just need 2 new brackets. New brakes all the way around. Drivable as is. We ride around the neighborhood all the time. Would be perfect for a farm vehicle, for parades, or around a small town with low speed limits. It is a 60hp 4 cylinder motor. Top speed around 55mph. Amazing low end power. Need to see in person. Very unique.”
There is something going on with this Jeep, is that a modifed CJ-5 hood or is this a factory prototype. Maybe a CJ-4 or X-98 variant, makes you wonder? Would need more pics or in person to see what this jeep is.
That thing is messed up. That’s a M38 tub. Agree with mark, the hood is CJ-ish.
I saw that hood too. Looks like maybe someone made it?
most likely done by “bubba” but its always fun to stir the rare prototype pot!
Driver side looks like it’s melting… MELTING… AAAAH!!!
That winch looks strong enough to pull an overweight cat up a flight of stairs.
