UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
(04/18/2014) The hood looks similar to an early CJ-3B prototype. Learn more here.
“I have a 1953 Willys jeep for sale in great condition it has a 231 buick V6 engine , 4 speed trans with a 300 transfercase , lockers in both diffs and rear diff is a high pinion 3rd member , roll cage , winch , 2 tanks , 4 point harnesses . runs good and its street legal , it has 35″ tires on it. insurance is only $8 a month full coverage which is another good selling point FYI. $8,000 or trade for a RZR900 or 1000 only !!! Title in hand!”
Zack: Reminds me of a modern Wrangler, the way the hood is setup. looks cool. 🙂
I don’t know…I’m thinking he just used a 2A or 3A grill and cut his 3B hood at an angle to fit.
On my agenda to do one of these, I like the look but things will roll off the hood……………….
Cutting down the hood is pretty much what went on here. Kinda looks like an old Land Cruiser
Looks PRITTY good & price isn’t bad for all the work done to it !
Of all the changes people do to their front end, this is the first time I’ve seen or even heard of this modification. But why? Just to be different? That was a lot of work, and very well done. I can tell that the ground visibility would be improved off road.
