UPDATE: **Status unknown** Was on eBay (see comments).
Looks lie a good rig. Seller lots all information in a house fire. I’m wondering if he lost the title, too.
“this rig was recreated by a father and son shop in Oaklahoma and then purchased by me. Had house fire and lost all receipts and info but can provide as much info as I can. everything has been rebuilt and gone through including the wiring as the pics will speak for themselves and the unit only has 4500miles since I bought it. there is a 9inch ford in the rear, ramsey winch, alum diamond tool box, beefed suspension, 33×12.50×15 tires on custom wheels and frt disc brakes. the rear main leak is common as it has a rope seal and is available from Napa, this condition probably due to not very much use. I have asked my friend in Montana to list this for me as I have it stored near him 75miles south of missoula mt. Payment will be $500 in his paypal account and the balance by check or funds transfered to an escrow account at my bank. When the check clears both banks or cash clears then unit can be picked up and delivery is possible in a enclosed trailer for a fee. Thanks for viewing my posting.”
Is this Jeep still for sale and how do you get touch with the seller?
Hi Bob,
The seller listed this on eBay twice.
The first auction reached $6200 on Aug 19. http://www.ebay.com/itm/custom-1949-cj3-a-/121409129959
The second auction reached $5350 on August 26. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-CJ-cj3-a-/121415130052?vxp=mtr
I suspect this will be relisted by the seller again on eBay. However, if you are an eBay member, you can email the seller via the ebay email system:
– Click on this link http://www.ebay.com/usr/worker89?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
– Then click on the “Contact” link next the email icon.
I’ll update the post.
