At #36000, this is just early enough to have a column shift.
“1946 Jeep CJ2A Willy’s Overland universal, rare column shift. The CJ2A was the first civilian jeeps (CJ) ever sold and the column shift was only produced for a short time. This jeep has been partially restored, runs great, canvas top, stock condition. Needs paint. Check NADA Guides.com. More pictures upon request. $7500 firm.”
WOW! I have never seen a jeep with a windmill in the back……..-RG
That was a very rare generator option…
The windmill option was designed to charge 6 volt batteries. When guys upgraded their jeeps to 12 volt systems they had to get rid of the windmills, that’s why you don’t see them anymore.
With my windmill Jeep option I achieved 30 MPG, but alas one day I forgot and went under a bridge…
