UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
1948 CJ2A Dually Farm Jeep 4 sale ( This 2A was listed on Ewillys awhile back ,go to cj2a monroe three point hitch in search box at top of Ewillys home page and you can see original ad with link to lots of pics and full description)
Very original unmolested CJ2A farm Jeep
Starts runs , drives and stops as it should .Everything works as it should with no major issues .Any rust was removed and patched .It is not a show Jeep by any means but has incredible patina and as mentioned everything works and is ready to go as is. With all the equipment included with this 2A if it were restored it would be an excellent example of 48 2A I have seen Jeeps that were in horrible condition restored so I do think this one would be a great candidate ,or better yet hop in and use it like it is . List of stuff on jeep
Original motor and drive train ,6 volt system (still charges battery and starts fine)
Has all its tags
Original oil bath air cleaner ,thumb screws ,horn ,etc etc
Original Keyed Coil, with key works as it should
Full Power Take Off set up
Novi Governor with correct Handle and cable to original WO carter carb
Complete Monroe three point hitch w/ all the correct original components (arms ,leveling , crankshaft pump ,reservoir and control valve ,etc etc ,everything is there . ) the lift came on the jeep and is in great working order. I even have the original owners manual ,parts list ,and how to use manual for the Monroe setup.
I also have a bunch of manuals and great brochures that came with the 2A originally
Rear gearbox driven winch and cradle assembly with hoisting boom ( works awesome for picking motors or anything for that matter around the shop or yard)The cradle and winch can be removed from drawbar with 4 bolts and arms put on three point hitch just as easily for farm work
Rear right angle drive and flat belt Drum Pulley with belt
Belt driven buzz saw
Harrison Heater
Rear dual wheel adapters ( I actually had Two sets of duals on this jeep when listed before ,but removed one set for my column shift 2a . I had three sets originally so I also have one more set for sale listed separately
older half cab soft top with new windows sewn in . Not the best of condition but none the less a decent half cab . not sure if I have an extra mid bow for this top I will check and if so it will go with top
original chaffe screen for front grille .
Two complete Shenecker plow setups with original Monarch Hy lo plow pump mounted on jeep The plow setup I have off of jeep is in excellent condition so if you want to plow snow with it I will give you the better of the two plow frames and blades that I have
I’m sure I am forgetting stuff and I have a bunch of NOS parts and extra parts that will be going with the jeep
I also have a 100% restored Koenig Steel half cab top that I will offer to new owner of jeep ,or anyone that may be interested in a koenig half cab top for a 2A Its condition is amazing and really deserves to be on a restored 2a I will try to get it mocked up on this 2A for picture purposes but if anyone is interested I have pics of it installed on another 2a, although the pics dont really do it justice ( its an amazing top!!!!)
Last time around I was asking $9500 OBO for jeep with everything The only thing not included this time is one set of dual wheel adapters and the rear PTO shield which I also kept for my column shift 2A .I have added the soft top and a bunch of extra parts this time around
This time around I will be taking the best offer on Jeep with everything and will even throw in an extra parts jeep 2a if the offer is close to what I know the jeep with all this equipment is worth . If I dont get what I know its worth than I will try Ebay but would really like to this this Jeep stay in our country!!! If at that point I dont get whats its worth I will be more than happy to keep the jeep and sell off a bunch of its equipment !!!
Items that will be for sale at that point will be The Monroe setup, rear duals , drum pulley , governor ,and much more s been on there lately.
Asking price on the Willys with everything is $9500.00 OBO I’m sure I have more stuff for this jeep that I forgot that I will be including.
what are you asking for a single or double stick pto, and rear pto bow and wheel
Hey Todd ,sorry I didnt get back to you sooner . Been busy answering calls and emails.Prices on the single stick rear output PTOs vary a little . Some are in excellent condition with perfect tags ,very little use ,clean and original shifting levers .For those I’m asking $175 .For ones not as clean ,decent tags ,great working condition I’m asking $125 .For ones in great working condition
,decent tags and no shifting lever I’m asking $100. replacement shifting levers can be purchased from Herm the Overdrive Guy,at a decent price. All of my twinstick PTOs have been sold as was the one pictured (single stick dual output)Rear PTO gearbox output shafts with companion flange I’m asking $400 each . Right angle Belt Drive Drum Pulley ,excellent condition ,no chips or damage to drum Im asking $750 . I only have one left as the other one is being included with the 48 CJ2a for sale. For the Right Angle Belt Drive pictured (minus a Drum Pulley ) Im asking $350 As mentioned in ad posting I would entertain offers on everything as a unit or separately .I hope this helps

Hey Ted – wonderful Jeep and collection. Can you email me about some parts ? also, thank you for trying to keep your Jeep in the USA,
Hey Mike ,Thanks so much for the nice comment on my stuff . Its truly a sickness that some of us have caught ,and one that I might ad I’m okay with. With most of the WW2 stuff ending up in Europe and most of the money I kinda think its important to keep a lot of the post war civilian stuff here in the US where it was made and put to good use for all this time .Feel free to email me direct about whatever parts your interested in or questions you may have . Thanks again and talk to you soon
