I purchased this jeep in SoCal last year and brought it to NJ when I moved here. This willys is clean and daily driver material. In the past year I have:

Rebuilt carburetor
new fuel pump, new fuel lines & filters. Cleaned out gas tank
New water pump & thermostat
Full tune up
New lightweight land cruiser starter
New headlight switch
Fresh fluids transmission & transfer case

This jeep runs like a champ. I take it on the highway and do 65 mph with ease. This says a lot considering its the military version of the early CJ5. 

Previous owner had engine rebuilt professionally. ( I have receipts) 15k miles since rebuild. Jeep is now 12 volt with fuse box and clean wiring. Saginaw manual steering upgrade with 2 hole passenger knuckle hub upgrade eliminates infamous ross steering setup and goofy tie rod setup that plagued these early jeeps. 

Included: original starter, original fuel pump, original horn, bikini top. 

Needs: new wiper motors & ebrake adjustment

I have a ton of receipts for this California jeep. Still have cali registration and black and yellow 1952 California plates that the jeep came with. 

Has turn signals, side marker lights, license plate light. Completely legal and road ready. This willys come with all original drivetrain. Willys Hurricane 4 cyl with matching trans and transfer case all with rebuild tags from Okinawa Japan 1956. Drive it away!
