UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
(05/16/2014) Keith’s selling his M-38A1. It runs, but does need some work.
“I have had this Jeep about 3 months. Quickly realized I do not have time to work on it. The jeep sat in a garage since 2002. Before that, it was used as a hunting vehicle. As such, the body needs some work. I figure, if nothing else, a person can barely get a decent ATV these days for the same money as I am asking for a (rough)vintage jeep. As of now, I am staying FIRM at $3000. If I can’t get that much, that is ok, I will just hold on to it.
Here is the good and bad.
Good:
Engine starts and runs(I drive it around the yard)
transmission shifts into all gears
hubs lock, 4×4 works including low
co-op tires have plenty of tread
Electrical works(12-volt) blinkers and headlights work
Original Engine
Bad:
Body isn’t perfect (rear quarter has dent, front fender is rough)
Gas tank is not hooked up(working on that now)
Brakes do not work
I am sure there is more
That is about all I know at this point. Do Not Need Help Selling.
If you are looking from out of state, Alabama does not title vehicles this old. This is bill of sale only”
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I
find this matter to be really something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for
your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
