Czechs mark anniversary of liberation by American troops in WWII
In May 1945, western Czechoslovakia was liberated by US forces under General Patton in World War II. Amid a week of commemoration in Pilsen, a new monument to the US forces now stands in nearby Konstantinovy Lazne.
It’s great to be able to see the video of those who continue to celebrate that landmark day in history. The two ambulances rolling down the beach was very symbolic of a day that could never be totally reenacted.

I’ll be honest, minus the tourists and the Ford car in the first few minutes, I could totally see that actually happening! hahaha.
Man, that is on my To Do/Bucket list. All I need is an MB and a few thousand to travel over with it! Man, that would be fun to just go and sit on the corner and watch.
Such incredible videos… wow. Would love to have been there to experience it all.
