UPDATE: Still Available.
Looks in good shape.
“1958 Willys Wagon, 2nd owner. Recently restored interior and exterior. 4 wheel drive high and low work fine. Rare factory installed front wench operated by drive train. Runs great. Some rust underneath.
Selling because it’s a second car that we rarely drive and building we garage it in is being sold and we’re losing the spot.”
Wow nice wagon. I’m local if someone wants me to go look at it for them.
Oh and it’s located in the ‘inner Richmond,” a neighborhood in NW San Francisco, not Richmond, CA a few miles to the east across the bay.
aha .. I didn’t know about that difference.
Common mistake… I made it when I first moved here. There is a big difference between “The Richmond” (a neighborhood in San Francisco) and “Richmond” (a struggling city in the East Bay).
lol .. indeed a difference!
Looked it over yesterday 15 may, I’m not an expert but brakes best I’ve used, steering loose, some rust painted over, 12 volt, leaf spring appear to be new also shock, engine sounded and drove solid, no overdrive, PTO winch, some rust rear fenders with hole taped over on left side, wood on floor good seat-both-good. I think seller is motivated/will deal. A good buy!
Thanks for the input Vic!
The craigslist link says the posting has expired.
Anyone have any contatct info for the seller?
I don’t have any more information. Maybe Vic has some contact info? I suspect it is still available given it expired (rather than was deleted) from Craigslist. Otherwise, I’ll drop you a note if it reappears.
