The shifter on the dash is the ” newer style” power angle plow shifter used on Western plow (brand name red blade) set ups. These are popular up north in NJ. It is an electric- hydraulic unit; not often used on an old Willys,
I think I recognize this old Willys from my old Stopping Grounds in Garfield, NJ. The top is so unique (I think it’s a Sears Robuck) with it’s rounded high hat look. The Last time I saw it was a Sunday morning in December about 7 years ago. The color was that coral, almost pink color that was popular in the 1960’s. It was parked on Midland, Ave, Garfield, NJ at a forklift repair shop that at one time was a Sunoco gas station. Just some trivia that might be helpful if you were interested in this Willys. P.S. I remember this because it is same day “Tony the Shake” payed me the 200 bucks he owed me. Another story from the NJ Files on the Dark side of town.
