UPDATE: Price dropped to $4000.
(02/28/2014) There are some original and some not so original parts (note the customized transfercase cross member). I don’t see full floating hubs on the rear, either.
“This is a very strong running original 1942 WWII Willy’s Jeep, rebuilt tranny and transfer case, complete new brake parts, runs and drives great. Engine is strong and original 26k…4 x 4 of course. Has been converted to 12 volt
Must sell, please serious inquiries only…..
if interested we can set up a viewing”
Hey, just like my 42 underneath: no propeller shafts!
The customized crossmember is to accommodate the t-90 tranny. As you know the t-90 was 1 inch taller than the t-84….the easier solution would have been to use a CJ crossmember. When I don’t see full floating rear and I do see a t-90 and I see a CJ body, and two different CJ windshields, I get real suspicious about whether there is much MB or GPW left on this jeep.
