It’s a nice looking Jeep but SHOWROOM CONDITION? With a fastener missing from the grille, loose and unconnected wires hanging below the dash, fabric glued around the radio installation, what appears to be a bent passenger seat frame where the leg doesn’t fit in the pivot bracket, and a possible bent rear crossmember where the body to crossmember gap isn’t even, along with numerous smaller concerns lead me to believe this is a nice paint job with an overly inflated price.
The seller never mentioned which showroom … 🙂
Dave, you’re right! I assumed the seller meant an automotive showroom but they might have been referring to a strip club showroom where prices are high and the items on display look much better after alcohol has been consumed.
Well, I have … ahem… friends who say they’ve seen outfits in a strip club that are bright like that. It will fit in well (so my friends say).
haha…
The good news is that when this stuff sells for $14k, it raises the value of the truly original Jeeps 🙂
Well the ad says it is in Ca. also known as Northern Mexico. It could be 14000 pesos.
nice jeep. but my guess is less than 10. it will sell for a good bit less than 10.
regarding the strip club, went to one once near appleton wisconsin, ugliest girls i ever seen. my boss gave me 20 to give her and my best guess was it was the only 20 dollar tip she ever got. now Atlanta, 50 girls of every shape. someone for everyone.
I like the strip club analogy. (That was a pun)! Seriously, this is one of those ones that looks good from 30 feet. I like not only the stuff around the radio, but also how crooked it is, and all those extra holes in the grill. The yellow paint is nice though.
I think the wheels are black spokes with body colored trim rings(maybe just painted on rims). It does make for a nice custom look.
I agree Mark. Those are the deep spoked rims.
I have been reading this blog too long. The stories of strip clubs are just as interesting as the jeeps.
The Great Alaskan Bush Company provides interesting and amazing entertainment here in Anchorage. While they offer many items for sale or trade they do not sell Jeeps or parts.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may look good to some May look bad to others. This is a pretty nice looking 3b, let’s cut the seller some slack, and thank him for giving us another joy to look at
Sorry, but the wheels are sophmorish. Probably the worst part of the customization.
