UPDATE: Now priced at $1500.
(03/14/2014) It does not run.
” have a 1946 jeep (first year of consumer jeeps) that needs a restoration. It does not run and was parked for years as the clutch was sticking. It does roll and steer to move. The frame looks good and the body has had new metal welded in. The jeep has the original motor (flathead 4) and drive train (3 speed). It shows 13,000 original miles. These are getting more difficult to find to restore. I would like to trade it for an enduro bike, 4 wheeler, jeep wrangler, or maybe something else motorized. You can always ask if I am interested. Thanks for looking.”
The link appears INOP Dave. Says page not found.
Dave, that’s a new phrase for me: “consumer jeep”. Ever hear that one before?
Strangely, the link was correct, yet didn’t work. I’ve updated it with the link again.
Steve . . . I guess the seller is using the term ‘consumer’ instead of ‘civilian’? Nope, never heard that one.
